Quillwork is a unique indigenous art form that has been utilized for hundreds of years.This art form utilizes the quills of a porcupine and are delicately woven together to make designs. Quillwork was used to decorate regalia such as shirts, moccasins, and jewelry.

Are the porcupine quills ethically sourced?

Yes, all porcupine quills used are ethically sourced.

How are the porcupine quills dyed?

All porcupine quills are dyed using either synthetic (β€œRIT” Dye) or natural dyes.

How do I care for my earrings?

All earrings are made to withstand normal wear and tear. To ensure longevity, please make sure you keep the earrings dry. Water could make the quills pliable again and possibly ruin the shape of the earrings.

What should I do if an earring breaks?

Please keep in mind that these earrings are all handmade and delicate. If one happens to break during the shipping process contact me and I will be more than happy to work with you.
